Rally perfomance does a great job with Ecutek as does Vishnu.
We try to steer clear of mail order tuning as we have to do a less agressive tune due to differences from car to car and climates.
By doing the tune on the dyno we can maximize it for your car as like I said no two cars are the same.
We have two cars coming in this week to do Ecutek. One is ditching his Cobb Accessport due to the fact there is no map for the turbo he is putting on his STi.
The other car is switching from UTEC do to some problems.

Go to Mastro, It's a one time charge for ECUtek and any future upgrades cost dyno time only(if necessary).

my wrx has a shit ton of stuff done to it and rides out like stock wrx's but smoother and way more powerful ;) ECUtek is cool for a daily driver most def.!!

or get UTEC bc
a) cheaper
b) change on the fly with a laptop with UTEC vs ECUtek having to re burn a chip everytime you change something
c) cheaper to retune when you add more mods since sam can do it, and not have to pay some ass raping price and probably not have a tune for shit. ECUtek is pretty much a monopoly in the tampa area by mastro and if you have UTEC, anyone can do it since its done via laptop. Hell, you could buy your own wideband (AEM makes a decently affordable one now) and just street tune it.
d) UTEC will be tuned by someone that is known as a good tuner, and unfortunately with ECUtek and the local tuners of it have their horror stories.
e) UTEC has a little switch so you can have multiple maps (I.E. 1 for street, 1 for strip, 1 for nitrous, etc) and im pretty sure ECUtek doesnt have that.

Seems like alot of people listen to you. Ever since you started on this Anti-Mastro crusade we have been doing more and more Ecuteks. We are averaging 3 per week now, with 2 done yesterday.
Thanks for the publicity Mark:bigthumb:
Edit: Oh yeah and we havent had a single blown engine.

not saying blown engines, just not tuned aggressively (which i understand bc your a dealership, and not a real race shop) or tuned at all and get charged for it, aka, ryans car.
it has nothing to do with anti mastro either, even before then i still thought ecutek was dog shit, even if like sam or other people tuned ECUtek, i just dont like it, mainly due to rom burn everytime u wanna change something. and the facts are
people that change from ecutek to utec > people that change from utec to ecutek
anyone that has a wide band and a laptop can tune a utec (being that you know how to use VE tables), ecutek cant, its a monopoly by mastro for the tampa area, and thats the truth. if i had a dyno and i was the only person that could tune a specific ecu that some people wanted and i knew that i could charge an arm and a leg to re tune their system bc i was the monopoly for it in that area, i would do it too.

UTEC approched us, many times in fact. We were just not impressedby the product. We liked the fact that Ecutek is completely invisible, where the UTEC you have wires strewn everywhere.
And I have seen more than one do-it-yourselfer get a little to over zealous and bad things happend.
Sam is good at UTEC, thats what he knows
We are good at Ecutek, thats what we know

If you can find an ECU with ECUtek already on it for $300, then go for it. You'll just need some dyno time to tune for it.
