How many straps do you use when you trailor your car and where do you strap the car down? Thanks. -Mark

4 straps. two on the motor mounts up front, and two on the lower control arms in the rear.. I'm going to get axle straps so I can just use those, but haven't done it yet...

I have one in the rear that hooks to an eye, goes around the rear axle, then hooks to another eye a couple of feet away.

In the front, I go from an eye, around the K-member, back to that eye.

These are 4" straps, and it doesn't move around at all.

Cool thanks. How big of straps do I need? I've seen some from 1" wide to 3". -Mark

Get the ones that are 3-4" from Home Depot, I think they're $15 ea. They come with a very long strap, but just cut it to desired length...

3400lb car on slicks and launching at 7000rpms isn't good for a stock t45. :D I highly doubit it's gonna last so I don't want to fit the tow bill when(not if) it breaks. That and I'm tired of only going 60mph all the way to the damn track. Damn gear. -Mark

Ehh for what you spend on a truck and traior you could have it towed a humdred times. At leat that is what I am using as a excuse for not getting a truck/trailor. :D

true but I also needed it for my 2 atv's and 2 dogs. Also if you break I can drive my car home and tow your old carb ass home. ;)
