This was on LS1tech. As some of you know the new LS2 will be in a ton of new cars and trucks next year along with aluminum 5.3 versions in several other cars. The new LS2 is rated at 400 hp. Here is a dyno graph of the LS2 in a 05 GTO.
The GTO seems to have a power robbing drivetrain since the 04 ones are only dynoing in the 270 range to the wheels. So this dyno looks exceptionally good. I think 12s stock may be possible.

I think its basically an identical engine. But of course GM will probably rate the GTO at 395 instead of 400 for the C6.

My guess would be manual since a lot of factory autos are hard to dyno because of their converters.

all the GTO's ive seen dyno put down like 290ish in stock form.
and the LS2 is only going to be 5.3 and 6.0's?
only thing i dont like about the graph is the abrupt loss of torque at the last 1000 rpm.

The LS2 is an all aluminum 6.0 motor. Which is going to be a VERY sought after block. Aluminum 4" bore :D
