well yesterday i took the treo out due to me thinking it was blown. thankfully the guys at divine sounds said no its not. all the coils read out to be 1.5 like it should. i told him about how its not sounding as loud, and he asked what amp i had. i told him mmatts and he said the 300 series . i said yea. he goes theres ur problem. my amp is 2 ohm stable, and the speaker isnt, therefore not making it sound as loud over time. which seems to be my case. cause the first day i put that bitch in, itd make ur ears bleed almost. so now i have to sell my amp or trade it for one thats 1 ohm stable. life sucks once again.

life doesn't suck, just get the problem taken care of. my shit is still sounding like ass... i have to fork over $500 to get it sounding good :( but oh well... have patience, do it right the first time. :)

i did, the treo guy said i could run the sub off my amp so i did, but ends up i cant run it to long til i end up blowing something up. the sub is loud, but nowhere near as loud as it was.

im thinking about trading amps with a guy on the forum called the punisher. seems pretty cool. a straight up trade. my mmatts amp for his memphis 16-ST1000D . seems like a good amp. sure im losing some wattage, his is only 1100 watts x1 and mines 1700 watts but who really knows how much my amp is pushing the way its wired up with the sub. his comes with all the accessories, etc. 2morrow ima test my friends memphis amp out on my sub and see how it hits. hopefully itll be alright. how would i wire a quad 1.5 ohm sub to 1 ohm. what do u guys think about the trade. i dont know if im being sorta jumpy, or should i wait and see what else i can get. maybe sell my amp and then buy this ......

oh , i can use it, its just i cant use it for too long. also my amp is very expensive i paid good money for it. i wouldnt want to loose alot of money on a trade, that maybe i could just sell my amp and buy another one keeping some cash in my pocket.
