STEREO dB Test Car Show Friday - win $100

This friday There's another car show @ Fletcher and dale maybre held by our good friend ronny setzer.

Reason i bring this up is that they will be haveing a new dB meter and all you stereo freaks like me need to get your ass out there, pay 5 bucks to compete, get your dB and see if your stereo has balls :)


If more than 20 people sign up the winner wins $100. Bring your setup out there and get it on the scale.

ya it's fun, the more the merrier......... thing that sucks is that at the last audio comp. i blew my about to die 12w3 :( now i gots to get it repaired......... but hey 138.7dB off 3 subs(one of of which was blown) w/ only 1000w rms isnt bad.............

ya.....the type of subs are not ment for all out SPL application. If i was going for SPL then w/ 3 12's i'd definitly not be below 140dB.
My reasons for going w/ the 12w3's in power wedge was SQ. Which granted they are not the best in the SQ world of subs but i got them at a decent price and the crispness and clarity of the bass is good enough for me w/out going overboard on spending.
Once i get the busted sub replaced my goal is to get to 145dB.....which is a long shot but i'll let yall know after i get it replaced and metered.

But all things considerd, it being an SQ setup and haveing a large ass hole on one subs to fuck with the other 2 subs performance......138.7dB not bad IMO........once i get my system full operationonal i'm sure i'll at least break 140dB

and besides.......140dB-145dB is loud enough for daily driveing stress on your ear drums :)
