Seriously, the three threads at the top of this forum are called "stickies". Please use them first before asking any questions.

I agree. A legitimate question was asked. One legitimate reply and two bullshit replies resulted.

Grow up a little, guys!

In answer to the question asked:

The best place to go to throw around your street car is going to be an autocross. You can find out all about autocross and all of the area clubs that do autocrosses and their schedules in the sticky posts at the top of the forum.

Beyond that, you could go to one of the tracks like Sebring and run track events there with different clubs and organizations. It costs a little more money, and the risks are greater, but you can run your street car there and have a lot of fun.

If you've not done anything of the sort before, start with an autocross. Lots of fun, not a lot of money.

If you look around there are quite a few isolated parking lots where you could get some practice in.

+1 on the autocross thing. That is a great place to get started.

www.chinmotorsports.com would be the club to run with if you have never been on a big track. www.safemotorsports.com is the club to run with if do have track experience..... there are some great drivers and some seriously fast cars at these events.
