So I get home from work yesterday, go inside the house, and about 2 hours later come outside to get something out of the car.... TO FIND A F*#@$%G FLAT TIRE....

Yup - nice big piece of glass in the tread.

I think it's the lot I park in at work, because it's always full of beer bottles, etc because they use it for parking for the lightning games. Usually tends to be a few tailgaters that leave their frosty beverage of choice containers laying around, and someone inevitably crushes it and spreads glass around the lot.

No sense patching it, they all need to be replaced anyway...

I'm checking with AK and broadway tire, does anyone have any used 275/40/17's around??? Spending $4-600 on a new set of tires isn't in the budget right now.

I'm also considering ditching the Chrome ZR1's in favor of some stock 16" rims and tires to save on replacement costs in the future.

Eddie, the car get's driven from work, to home, and back, that's it.... Probably put 500 miles on it in the entire last month. I knew it was going to be needed soon, but not two weeks before I would have the $ to do something about it...... Arrrrgh. Funny - some times you look around and there are 20 deals on tires, other times you can't find 1.

Yep. And those deals always seem to appear when you just put new rolling stock on the car and disapear two days after the last of your paycheck goes to bills 10 days before you next payday. :d
