Official: AE86 Meet 8/01 at 8pm

Get your hachi out of the garage and clean it up,
because THE OFFICIAL AE86 MEET is finally upon us
this sunday August 1st, 8pm at Bennigans on Dale Mabry
across from the stadium.

Come one, come all to see the hachis line up. All are
welcome but the rollas will be the center of attention.

Well yes sort of, if you had checked the person who started that thread you would have seen it was me, this is the new official thead!!!

btw thanx that makes three so far this hachi meet should be bigger than the last one!

I "stole" your thread since no one showed serious interest cause no SPECIFIC arrangements were made. So I went ahead, set up a time and place and lord and behold... people are now showing interest.. Unfortunately the OFFICIAL meet is the one at 1:30pm at Hooters since I should be expecting at least 10-15 Hachi's from the surrounding bay area plus many more drifting machines ( 240's and ish ) ...... If you are having one in Tampa at a later time, more power to you since several Tampa people think St. Pete is too far and they'll probably go to that one.. I wont go to the Bennigans meet but I'll be at the Hooters meet along with many others.....

No offense on snatching your other thread but no one was showing any Serious interest until I set something up.. Good luck at your bennigan's meet....

No it is not the same meet... It is 2 separate ones...... I have several people from Club4age as well as drifting.com PM me on their appearence at Hooters.... I'm expecting a much larger group at Hooters some make sure every one is at hooters on sunday 1-1:30pm

Yes most of the members are in the West coast but there are plenty from florida... Just because you don't know them doesn't mean they are not around. 10 years ago while everyone was dreaming about civics and bobo rides, I was pimping my uncles hachi and there are plenty of supporters for that vehicle locally. They just don't post whore on threads. A TOTAL of 10-15 have shown interest on showing up and has either posted or PM'd me about it. With the 10's of thousands of Hachis that were built in that era, I'm sure that there are more than a handful still around.

Here it is in a nutshell, NO hard feelings about anything.
If it is more convenient for anyone to go to the Tampa meet at 8pm, then go right ahead... enjoy. I just encourage a large gathering at an earlier time at a more central location between manatee and tampa. I have many Pm's from several sites stating they will or want to attend. We know people talk alot of ish so I guess we'll see.. It's so that we can all meet and have a good time..... I rememeber back in the day when I used to meet up with car clubs like Drastic Measures and Fly Customs..

Lets all just see this as a fun event and that way we can set up a monthly meet...

well if thats how it plays out i guess i will have no choise but to be at both the one for the evening was set up cause a few of the people on tampa racing can't make it out to st pete or are working that day so i was trying to help them out but thats all i was doing no hard feellings i just hate when i try to set something up and it doesn't work the way i wanted but two meets that rocks more power to both meets come one come all and sir drift alot you should come to mine as well it would be cool!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I couldn't be there, rain sucked here on my part of town. Plus I had family over so...Nice pics btw, I'm falling more and more in love with the ae86 the more I see them. They look really sweet. I love the Liftbacks over the coupes. Sucks for that bmw lol.:(
