View Full Version : Oil Filter Help!!! Asap!!!

HELP!!!! we need to know where the hell the oil filter is on my friends 2003 cavalier. we cant find it because it "drops in" thats what the guy from auto zone said. idk where to drop it in... already got oil out tell us where it is, give me a link that shows a pic of where it is. HELP!!!!

Is there a round "plug" in the bottom of the pan? I know some cars have the filter in the pan with an access hole to get to it.

nope just the drain hole... we found it, we thought it was this spot but we didnt want to mess with it cause there was hoses and shit all in the way. regardless we found it

yeah those damn filters having those 32 mm cap thingy's on the top of motor are really ghey

canister filters suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's called an ecotech 2.2 and it's on top, you will see a black cap looking thing thing, just use a wrench or plyers and take it out and theres your filter.
