Here are the specs on my sub's I have 2 of them.

Recommended RMS Power: 200W
Peak Power Handling: 400W

What size amp should i buy to get the most out of the subs. Should i get a 400watt amp or an 800watt amp? Please help me Thank you!!

Well you dont need two threads...but get an amp that is 200 watts RMS, which might be around 400 peak depending on the amp. Look at RMS though, its more important (see other thread).

well according to your other thread, you have two of the subs, so get a 400 watt RMS amp if its a 2 channel, or around a 600 watt RMS amp if its a mono amp.

i really dont feel like explaining parallel or series wiring, or ohm loads, but theres much more to buying an amp than watts. do a google search, or i might come back and type later if im bored

wow..get a 2 ohm stable amp... if the subs are DVC (dual voice coil) get 2 channel or mono... if you have SVC (single voice coil) then get a mono amp

Stick with a mono class D either way. The JBL 600.1 I recommended in the other thread would work well with your subs as long as you keep the gains all the way down. And if you're really tight on cash, the JBL 300.1 wouldn't be a bad choice (plus you wouldn't have to worry as much about turning the gains up and cranking the volume).

Thank you i have one more question, my subs are 4OHM. What does that mean, and when lookin at amps when is says the watts at 4ohm's is that the watts they will be pushing my subs at?

250W x1 @ 4ohms
500W x1 @ 2ohms
750W x1 @ 1ohms

RMS 250-50WATTS

If my subs are 4ohms how many watts are gonna push it?

most amps cant run 1 ohm...just hook them up at 2 ohms, unless you get one of the few amps that can run 1 ohm
