alpine head unit, DLS UR 6.5's, 2 IDQ v2 12's in a soon to be completed custom glass enclosure by mr. 93 "mouth of the south" ex, all powered by a DLS A5 amp

and it will be fixed whenever my insurance company decides to do so...

nope not at the carrollwood meet... sorry guys but we have a nice established meet and i dont want it to get messed up cuz some guys with 200db stereos wanna play...

have you ever been to an ahq meet? i think the last one, we didnt even listen to stereos, just talked about them, and discussed osme projects. we arent the average idiots who just sit there bumping

i might actually be able to go with my system done to the fullest. all i gotta say. treo is fuckin amazing :) im pleased as possible. just fucked up on the xbox dimensions so i gotta do something else which turns out to be alot fuckin easier then the shit i was trying to do. but peace for now.

We'll be having a good size stereo/car show August 22nd at SoundAdvice. No one will bitch at you if you decide to crank your system a little. And you guys who posted in the "best system" thread can enter and see how you stack up. Come on out and bring your friends kiddies.

So this tuesday it is then? And yeah we dont sit around and play our systems, thats my biggest pet peve (sp?) Ask anyone I dont play my system in neighborhoods, parking lots, etc etc. I just wanna sit around and talk stereo and hopefully something exciting will happen again, like some grl and guy gettin paid to fuck in the back of a truck lmao

BTW me, julian, tim and kirk are there every tuesday along wit the regular TR people, would be nice if more AHQ people came

Dale Mabry. I'm not 100% because I just received the details, but I believe entrance fee is like $50 or $60, it's $10 for each additional category you enter. Winners receive plaque, a SoundAdvice gift certificate for a couple hundred dollars, and points in the SLAP circuit. Polk and Alpine are sponsoring it, Sirius will be at the event too, as well as a radio station (the Beat I think). I'm sure ya'll will hear radio advertisements and see rave cards floating around advertising the event within the next couple weeks.

What kind of categories you think I might have a chance in? I havent been to many audio shows.. been working too much. Dale Mabry/Columbus?

There's going to be SPL and SQ categories, as well as show related (ie, best paint, interior, performance, etc.). I'm pretty sure there will be mild and wild divisions so normal people don't get stuck going up against some sponsored vehicle with a million dollars in it. I'd say if anything you'd do best in SQ or an overall vehicle category. We're expecting a minimum of 100 registered entries.

I received a memo a few days ago with most of the details, but only skimmed it. I'll try to keep the forum updated.
