Let me know when you are going to do it. I can stop by and give you some pointers since you live so close. Shouldn't be too bad.

Take the tire off, remove the plactic inner fender molding, should be clips or screws, then u should have access to the battery...
Id suggest relocating the optima to the trunk or somewhere if u dont like were the stock battery is located...
Ive installed a few in cars like urs its a bitch, and in my opinion its just another example of factories designing cars to help make even more money.... Most owners take there cars and have a shop do the work, while spending more money...
But anyway if u got any questions let me know.

As long as you bought the designated model for your car, there should be no fitment problems....
definetly was a shitty day today. fuckin rain didnt help either. i wanted to get started nice and early but that didnt happen. didnt have the right tools cause i wasnt at my house. optima really doesnt fit right. too big, but i can fix that i think. i just duct taped that bitch and drove home, i didnt give a fuck i just wanted to come home. all i got done today was, finish my box, and get my optima in. and got my amp rack ready. 2morrow i wont even be able to work on it. ill just have to do what i can after work for the next week.

Don't feel bad, the older Vipers are the same way, except you have to pull the rear tire.
