hey guys, im having some problems with my eclipse indash lcd dvd player. the screen powered up one day and all i get now is a couple of white blocks and a whole bunch of white lines that go across the screen. the audio portion of the screen is fine and still plays dvds and cds, BUT i can't see anything on the screen. i can also click the radio presets (so the touch screen part is fine).
i tried to hit the reset button and i have checked all of my wiring, but everything seems to check out. someone told me that i might have to send it back to eclipse...
let me know if there are any good shops or people that i can go to to get this checked out.
thanks

Not sure what shops around here are authorized Eclipse dealers... contact Eclipse and they can recommend a few to take it to.. then the shops get a repair RA and send it back for you.

Audio Itch in Tampa and Stereorama in Clearwater are Eclipse dealers, Auto Audio in Palm Harbor repairs head units but they don't sell Eclipse so unless it's a problem theyve dealt with before, I dont know if they could help you.

china There is a wire that goes to the parking brake, is that connected? You can just ground it out and it wil show the screen all the time, not when you are just parked. Who installed it? If anything take it to Buzz off, they are an eclipse dealer and I am sure they can help you. Aklso what model number is it? It isn't the 7002 is it?

so if the wire is not grounded, it will cause the screen to go all wacko? if i did that little gimick where i ground out the wire to be able to watch the tv whenever, not that i would because that is illegal ;) , but if i did will that solve my problem?
