will an srt-4 exhaust manifold and turbo bolt directly on a dohc 2.0 motor.and would the intercooler fit on the front

no and it should

There are quite a few places that sell 2.0 turbo manifolds though.

i found one cheap and want to see if it's worth it or if im going to need to buy a ton of crap just to make it work

yes the maniflold bolts right up to a dohc 2.0, a few bolts wont line up but they arent needed. do a search on neons.org for the swap.

yes i am i know two people that have done that swap one or two bolts dont line up but all the other do. they have no problem with leaks or cracking.

i was going to do the swap but i broke a wrist pin. so its on hold right now

it goes right on the 2.4 stratis motor my boy bobby put the 2.4 moter in his 95 neon now he is puting the srt4 turbo set up on it as we speek

ALL the internals of the 2.4L will bolt into the 2.0L too. I've been thinking about a 2-door SRT-4, ehehe.

wrong, the internals are not the same. the head is the same until 2001. srt rod and pistons will fit into an earlier 2.4 and that is an easy swap into a 1st gen. but the crank cant be used

AH... That's what I get for repeating second hand info... I remeber I saw an older neon on "sports car revolution" that he said had SRT4 internals and SRT turbo. It made like 260whp and ran high 12's.

id like to do an 2.4 but dont have the $$ to do it. im sticking with the turbo for now.
