dont know if ya'll know the answer to this question but i might as well ask. i am very interested in running my eg6, but it says that if you are 19 or under you need some parent signatures or something like that. i am 19 but that makes you a legal adult...so why would you need parent signatures?

Has anyone been to either of the previous events? If so, what is the driving surface like? (Bumpy, ruts, etc...?) Would I be stupid for taking a lowered VW out there? (Only lowered slighty though, not slammed to the ground), I have done some offraoding in it before so, I am contemplating on going to this.

unless you have a subaru or rally car, you probably don't want to take your daily driver or autox car....a lowered car would probably get eaten alive by some of the ruts that develop. The ground is pretty soft, so after a bunch of cars tear around the course things start to get pretty bad...ask jesse how many tires they popped off the impreza :)
I'm looking for a co-drive if anybody has a vehicle to share...
It is pretty damn fun though, bring your car out if it can take it.

Would they let something like this run?

A freind of mine has an international scout and might be interested in doing this.
I was thinking of running my mazda pickup but it is kind of slow.

Yeah, I figured it would get rough after a bunch of runs, I don't want to bust open my oil pan or anything. I am looking for a cheap beater to buy and take out there though. Trying to see what I can find before that date.

As long as it isn't really lifted and poses a rollover risk...same goes for the pickup. There was somebody there last time with a nissan pickup that was kinda high off the ground...nothing extreme, but he couldn't go too fast. It's more autox on a really shitty surface than hardcore off-roading.
