as my sub is getting ready to go into another vehicle, i need to think about a replacement. i've got a 500/1 in a ~1.2cu box. i'd like to stick to what ive got, as its done, installed, and pretty sweet. it currently houses an xtant 10" hexagonal, with a big-ass magnet, so souldnt have much in the line of issues with length of driver.

SO.

suggestions? i know i might have to get another box, but id like to stick with what ive got if possible. no aluminum cones, preferably something that will sound better, and not kill my wallet.

Well you did say you can't afford a w7, so technically you're not open to "anything." I'm guessing it'd be safe to say under $350?

I think under 350 leaves most of the market open for 10's. the w7 i belive is too deep for his box anyways.

Where did he say his box dimensions? I fit one in a 1.0 cube box before...I guess it just depends on the the height/width.
