it was a pretty cool event! i got in trouble for squeeling the tires on the "traction" course tho :dunno:

my only complaint was the fact they didn't have enough air in the tires, they rolled over like mad, especially on that pig volvo:lol:

are the transmissions auto or manual?

Autos.

It was pretty cool. 9 long runs. 3 good courses. No waiting in line at all. Back to back runs.

They didn't get onto us for pushing the cars either.

yeah....I registered then went straight there, guess I really didn't have to sign up though, there wasn't enough time for them to get my registration.

I didn't really notice how hard they'd let you push the cars until I drove the subaru on the handling course, that car was pretty fun.

was going to attend but was too sun burned/hung over to be behind the wheel of a car. I had a feeling they'd be auto's.

LOL, she yelled at my buddy on that course too for squealing the tires on the pig volvo. My favorite instructor was Mears who let us flog the hell out of the subaru. I was impressed by the subaru's power, and it was a clear winner, but the traction control on the BMW made me look like a damn good driver. Did anybody else get the subaru to drift? Solid car, now I want one, but I guess that was the point of the whole event :)

oh god, you didn't take off the traction control on the BMW? Why even bother driving?

depending on the instructor it wasn't allowed  the mears guy didn't care he seemed to be out for a good time & let us do what we wanted with the cars whereas others were trying to tell us when to brake & whatnot

Believe me, that was the first question I asked, but we didn't have a cool ride-along driver on the handling course when we were in the bimmer. We got Mears in the subaru, which was well worth it. Now I want a Legacy :)
