It was a specialy desgined surface, on pavement your tires would be toast in less then an hour. Any off the good drifters in Tampa could easily do that. If you didnt fall asleep.

To set the Guinness World Record, Simon was required to keep the car in a constant power slide – without spinning, straightening up or changing lane – for 15 minutes...


i doubt that there would be a whole lot of people that would be able to do it even for a minute without changing lanes or their line.
