View Full Version : durable front bumper options/opinions

Since the damage to my nose probably won't cover an intire sil front, what are your opinions on a nice bumper? I was looking for one similer to the one that resided on the wolverine, but I am open to any suggestions. I'm looking for durability/flexability (hit cones/stuff without cracking) and a large intercooler opening. I figured since ya'll go through body pieces quite a bit that you'd have decent suggestions.
I might be able to get some side skirts as well to cover up my dented rocker panels. Cheap, good and available is key. Not asking for too much.

Damn, it's a shame those look so fragile since they are so pimp looking. I am leaning towards the "Type X" bumpers since they are urathane anyway. After all that has happened to me recently, I need to get out and take this car sideways like it was intended to go. I might need a bit of practice and a diff, but I want to have a bumper as durable as it gets in case I screw things up enough to plow a cone.
Anyone have any pics of DRFT PFRP or Ings+1 stuffs for me to gander at? It is 439am and I can't bring myself to be on teh interweb any longer.

Where can you get one of those bumpers. Also do you hang out at ziptied.com becuase I swear I saw your car and wreck pictures on that site. You can fiberglass that back together. If you have a urethane if it breaks it is not fixable.

Sheese Matt, sorry to offend you oh exhalted one.
Forgive me if I am relativly new to Nissans. I'm not new to fast cars. Any time you want to compare intricate Mustang knowledge, I will be the one calling you a moron. Keep that much in mind before you decide to spout off over something I admitted I really didn't know.
Time to study up on my Gran Turismo. Oh wait, there it is, the 180SX Type X with that bumper on it, not the Kereoki one. Cut me some slack already.

Hence the challenge. Glad to see someone sorta caught on. Don't see how I got owned here either, but okay.
Sorry I even asked a damn question, isn't that what web forums are for? I suppose I figured incorrectly that it would be best to go to a forum where a human could answer a question rather than have 200 million results.

If you want durable, then urethane would be your best bet. Good luck trying to find a urethane front bumper other than oem though.
Buy my Monkey Magic front.
