What caught my attention is the restraint to use only the fire power neccessary to stand down the threat. That and the extremely clean exit the bullets made.

I take it you have never been found yourself in a life and death situation. Or maybe your to young to appreciate the precision and restraint shown on the part of the gunner in the armored vehicle. The occupents of the vehicle were in imminate danger, yet showed impressive restaint of their motor skills to not shred this guy into a million pieces.



Caveat: I find it ironic and hard for me to grasp the fact that when the threat is eleminated everyone comes running out of their hidding places screaming and yelling in apparent shock and amazment that a man in that position would be harmed for his fortuitous and i'll guided attempt at fame.

From this vid there is no way to tell what or who the man was trying to shoot. And no one can be sure of what nationality the man was. It could just as easily been Israeli and palastininan(sp?) or any of a hoard of different combinations. The rounds that stood down the threat could have come from a tank, a personell carrier, a copter, or even a humvee. What we do know is the assault is attempted with an RPG, and there is damn near complete certainty the rounds were either of 50 or 80cal.



To bad SUPERMAN wasn't there to be a shield against those bullets.:lol: Maybe the guy could've survived if he had just worn a red cape? Oh, what am i thinking, even superman couldn't stop those bullets.:deal: Well, to bad the Ha-bee-bee won't be alive to accept the Darwin of the Year Award.;)

Well, i wont bet my life on it, but i'll bet the farm that it was at least a 50 cal. The tracers seemed to have a rytheme of a rather large caliber weapon. Have you seen an entry and exit wound from a delpleted uranium bullet? As you can imagine they are used more for penetration than anything else. What do you propose it was from?
