U.S 240sx is worth how much in Japan??

From the looks of it, it is a stock 91-93 automatic going for $9000 in Japan. Maybe some of you guys selling your cars should put them on yahoo.jp :D

It used to be a huge status symbol in Japan to have a LHD car, rich guys were known to import Acura NSXs. This trend also translated to having a left arm more tan than your right as a symbol of status...obviously because the only way that would happen is by driving a LHD car all day.

I think that has changed now, I haven't heard any mention of lhd=bling for a long time.

The japanese love the USDM stuff. Always have. They pay big bucks for imported SUVs, big american spinner wheels, crazy stuff like Viper alarms, and Lexus emblems. Someone needs to find the pics of one of their boxy little cars with an Astro Van body kit. They're out there. I've talked to an importer in Japan that specialized in that stuff. He had a $100k Suburban, a Timberland sweatsuit, and corn rows when I met him.

I've seen 240 on yahoo before, but noone's interested on it.
LHD cars in Japan isn't big thing. Because we're allowed to drive the LHD cars, and I see LHD everyday. You can find the 240 at auction, but I'm sure LHD 240 is a rare car overthter.
Sonepeople like American stuffs in JP, but it's very very small compared to JDM scene here.

Here is your choice

If you have $6k to spend for the car in U.S
which car from the followings would you buy?

1. bone stock base model RHD non-turbo 180sx
2. some drift moded S13 with SR
