Gandy races tonite

1st was was against a 99-00 civic si,not sure what he had done to it,went from a 25mph roll.i got the jump and held him off until about 85 then he pass me put a car on me shut it down.

2nd:80s camero iroc,dead stop,put 3 + cars on him by the end of 3rd,had dual exhasut not sure what elese.

3rd:00+ elclipes gt,went from 25mph roll,he put about 2 cars on me by the end of 3rd.

4th:00+ celica gts 6 spd,intake and exhuast not sure what elese,dead stop-i held him off until about 45mph then he put plenty of cars on me after that(that thing sounded mean)

5th-96ish integra ls,sounded stock cep exhuast,25mph roll,put about 2 cars on him until the end of 3rd.

stop at race track after that to fill up and was a bunch of people there and a guy in a gti 1.8 turbo want to run.

25mph roll-i held him off until he hit 3rd and he put a couple cars on me,went again from a 40mph,held him off until 3rd again.

6th race-350z sounded like he had intake,25mph roll-he put about 4 cars on me by the end of 3rd.

This isn't going anywhere.An srt-4 was built for a turbo.From what i've heard they come with pretty solid blocks.It ain't a bad car.The corolla is a family sedan.If you wanna force induce it your reliability will not be the same as when the car is stock.So stop sayin how the corolla lasts long.We all drive what we like.

Actually you can find a z28 for under 12 grand i think.If you want an older style z28 then for 6 grand and less.The ls1 really is quite alot of bang for the buck.

And to get a corolla to compete with a stock z28 you'd have to spend alot of money,whick would end up costing you more.But like i said what people drive is their own prefference.

yea.. about 7k.... fastest way is change to 3S-GTE engine, change the Turbo, piston, rods.. and you'll get 400 to 500hp beast.. but hey.. it's impossible right..?

and just to be more of an ass, it costs you 3-4 grand for the "super" charger for your car and that puts you at low 15s.. my car comes STOCK running high 13s and with just over 1000 bucks in my car it was almost touching high 12s.. i could put my car in the fucking 10 second club if i had 3 grand to throw at it.

o by the way my car costs 7 grand less than yours... and has more respect stock than yours does decked out, supercharged and whatever else you ricers do now adays.. dont forget to change your blinker fluid

i know most of you won't even care about Corollas and feels no big deal about this video. but if you think and look from our side your will know how sad and how embarassed it can be.

anyways, i choose the corolla because of few things,
1) it's not expansive,
2) saves gas
3) reliablity
4) the most important of all, i like to modify cars that no one else modifys, it's actully more fun then just buying a fast car.

Everyone that owns a car and races it, thinks their car is fast in one manner or another. Leave it at that. Just as me, I own a Ford Escort :lol: . It's not "fast" by any means. But for what's been done and the money spent, it's alot quicker than comparible vehicles of it's class/engine. There are 545 FWHP Escorts out there, some in Florida. That run low 10's on stock transaxles, high 9's on built ones, etc. and can still attain 28-30mpg HWY as well. I really don't care though. My goal is to learn as much about my car and other cars as I can. If I teach people some things along the way that's even better. But I don't "mock" the knowledge of someone else's car without actually knowing something about the car, at least other than it's a 4 door family sedan :lol:.

your car does the 1st three things very well and thats what its good for. however is not a good starting point to build a fast car. yes you can make one fast, but again once you make if fast it wont be cheap, reliable or cheap on gas.

I didn't get picked on in school.And i'm still not beeing picked on.I hate it when people act like some psychiatrist and try to make every decision a person makes reach down in the past.I got a v8 because my budget right now doesn't allow me to spend over 10 grand on a car just to make it compete with the slightly modified v8's.It's that simple.

Alright, here is my spin on things.. I came off kinda harsh and rude to hoolala because he was totally dissing StickyHydro318, and the way i see it is that StickyHydro318 took one for the team (for lack of a better term), by being the star in such a funny video! StickyHydro318, has (according to my stats over 5000 pepole have downloaded this video in 2 days) made atleat 90% of them get a damn good laugh! their is about 10% of pepole that thought the video sucked and it was a waste of time to watch, and they got all pissed of because i said "your" instead of You’re or something stupid like that... anyways, my point is that I appreciate Sticky doing what he did, and I felt the need to stick up for him a bit. thats all!

owning a v8 doesnt make ya an asshole...as i am a prime example, it started before getting one crossed my mind. i just saw alot of easy potential in a V8, and as far as anyone doing 10's for 3k...its not happening in a LT1, and if it did, its lasting till about the 1st turn off.
