I need an 8-point roll cage built to SCCA specs for SS. I need someone who knows what they are doing and has a lot of experience.
It also has to be a bolt in and preferably chromoly.
Does anyone know a shop or fabricator?

I have a Autopower DOM tubing cage that I bought from Pegasus Racing. I had NBS fabrication in st.pete do the work, I also had the fabricate a Halo, and nascar door guard for me and they did it for a good price. Here is there addy and phone # if you are intersted.

Thanks man. I'm gonna give them a call when I get some time off. I found a 6 & 7 point rollcage made by Cusco specifically for the Evo's. It's made out of chromoly and comes in black or blue.
Problem is, I don't know the specs on it and if it will be approved by the SCCA. I need to do more research on it. I was thinking of buying the Cusco 6-point cage and have 2 additional point made so SCCA would approve of it. I'll probably get it powder coated in bronze to match the Volk TE37's I plan to get for it as well.

I've been subscribed to them for a while now. I've checked some of the adds in there, but no one has an Evo specific cage. I want the Evo specific because it fits the car better and has bends to contour the interior panels, dash, etc.

I bought the specific cage built for the car and just had them weld it in. That is the best route to go. That way you get bends like you said, made just for your interior spaces. You can go simple and have them add points or braces if you feel it deemable. The biggest thing you have to do is get DOM tubing. Its the weight specs on the tubes.
Theres a place right off 118th in st pete. They make cages for circle cars im sure they could make one for you. They do really good work to it, its next door to secret services.

Thanks guys.
I found a 6-point SCCA approved cage for $650 plus shipping.
I think I'm gonna go with that then take my car to a cage builder and add some more bracing if needed.

Full Race fabricates good cages too. $600.00 for fully bent/coped/notched/cut 4130 cromoly cages with a Full Race TIG welded crossbar in the main hoop.

oh dear god stay away from Cusco cages.... freaking death traps. all those bends to miss the dash are just crumple zones that put the halo bar into your skull in an accident. it's CRAP!

Tony, talk to Steve (Dragin.). He has some time on his hands and plans on doing some more work out of his old shop.

Hmmm, I might just hold off for a bit longer and do more research.
Billy, do you have Dragin's AIM? I've heard he does good work.
Thanks Alpha, I'm gonna check out Full Race as well.

Nice!
Anymore pics of the interior? Maybe the mounting points?
What car is that?

Save up for a custom rollcage, bolt-ins do very little for structural integrity as far as chassis flex in hard cornering, and dont take as much a punch as a kit that is basically a part of the car.
Just my .02but good luck
