D DAY 2 ATTACK OF THE LOVE BUGS!!!!!!!

I managed to bend a rear swaybar mount and completly waisted my "beater" tires. Accidently hit rev-limit (9200) a few times, but i guess it'll be ok. Other than that, a swollen right thumb from that bitch of a steering wheel! lol

The miata popped a pipe a couple times, but it lost a brake booster vacum line and the shifter broke in half on the same corner.....good thing it didnt happen one corner later. Nice save Bill. Guess the lesson on that is when you are tacking a custom shifter in place in a hurry...don't forget to finish welding it;)


All in all though....its absolutely amazing more stuff, especially the diff, didnt break on that car. Not bad for its first real test

At least you didnt manage to FUBAR your radiator again. I developed a coolant leak about midway through the day, other than that and my swaybar support all is good. My spare tires are waisted.

yeah i just got in my car a little while ago and noticed my steering wheel is clocked 30 degrees too far clockwise...hahahaa...ill be doing some inspection tomorrow most definately. shit'll buff out.

My E-Brake stopped working early in the day, I tore my thumb nail off second run of the first heat, and the rear wheels loosened up at the end of the third and my lug nuts were striped and I could not tighten them. But for how busted my car was when I got there I am surprised that it wasn't allot more busted when I left.

What diff does the sr miata have that you are so woried you are going to break?
