Sup all, I was following my friend looking for another friends new apt. out in Lakeland (no clue about the area, just following him around looking for the place). We got lost, so back to I-4 we went. I eyed a corner on the way in, looked clean w/o any objects. Exiting the turn (the turn was guttered and not curbed) I made contact :squint: with one of those power line tie-downs thingies (Looks like a fist? :dunno: ). Which gets me to my point....What do you all do with your wounds? I had plans to go out with the folks this evening (they live in St. Pete) so I stopped by my bro's paint shop on the way (also in St. Pete) and sanded/primered the area. Anyways I now have a 12inch by 4inch primered triangle where my front bumper meets my wheel-well on the left side. My pop's said I should have just left it, I say once my guy blends the area, it will be fine. What do you all usually do/have done when you encounter one of these flesh wounds?

(Pics are soon to come; and if anyone wishes, they can check out the area first hand @ DDII.)

Cant cry, gotta get back on the horse. 3 years ago, my first time in my FD I plowed through a stop-sign because I accidently lost traction. I have grown (and growned  ) to learn from my mistake. And after I have replayed my first scar over and over again in my head, always knowing where my mistake was and learning from it. This time I didnt see the *expletive deleted*(sp) thing (powerline fist-tie-down-of-doomdoomDOOM!). Could have been much worse (as all drifting mistakes can be IMO). Oh well, I now have the branding of primer (will be gone as soon as my precious J9 comes in :evil4: ).
