04 Corolla vs Swaped civic

I have a 04 corolla ce 5 spd with a cai,he had a 95ish coupe 5 spd with a b20 swap and i/h/e and maybe more.this race was a couple weeks ago.

1st race was from a 25 mph roll,i held him off until end of 3rd gear,he won by a lil more a bumper.

2nd race was from a 40mph roll,he won by 1/4 car.

there are a few people on this board that whitness theses races.

lol,it was me.i needed 5 bucks so i told em i had a stock motor.i let him look @ it,he thought it was an h23.still looking for some easy money i got 2 timeslips,1 from a saturn and 1 from a prelude.i showed him it and we went from a roll.i shifted @ 4500 everytime so i had just enough to get by him and win,i have witnesses.i really run a 14.5 sticky...your corolla stands no chance

well everyones got their liking,i think runnin a mid ot low 14 and still get 30 mpg is damn good,rather than a ws6 or an ss that run 13's and get like 12 mpg...and the hondas are half the price..and i know youre all gonna go on about stock vs stock..and youre right so dont bother it.

Actualy I run 12s and get about 24 MPG. :D and for the record I know there are several 4 cylinder cars in the area that run much faster than my car does and I have nothing against them(My wife and I have an 03 Nissan Sentra as a family car) . It was on a sunday night, we went all the way out almost to bradenton from Bennigans, turned around somewhere where the interstate seemed to just end then went all the way north to a rest stop on 75 right after 275 merges into 75, and from there all went to a 24 hour mcdonalds, ate, and called it a night.... We were doin like a cannonball run type deal and out of about 8 cars in the beginning only the 350z, 300z, and myself made it until compakt eventually caught up in that older style 4 door civic... Im pretty sure we saw you somewhere around the st pete area of 275.....

I didnt see you or I wouldve given you a run.... I was up front with the tt 350Z and 300ZXtt most of the time except when temps were getting to high from prolonged periods of 150mph+ so i had to back down to 80 or so to cool things down.... like i was sayin, we left the sunday bennigans meet and hopped on 275 S @ Dale Mabry, took it down to almost Bradenton, over the skyway etc... then turned around and went all the way north until it turned into 75 then stopped at a rest stop and decided to go grub, then call it a night..... We used to have a sunday ritual of interstate runs with a select few cars racing rest stop to rest stop.... but those long periods of high rpms and high speeds are hell on our cars.... especially being mostly turbo cars that generate mass amounts of heat.....

Jeff (Cronic) is suppose to be coming today to go with me to Amazon to pick up the oil line and some fittings to fix that, Then I have to put in the new injectors and some misc. toys, and from there, I can only wait for the new engine mounts.... I'm hoping by this weekend but most likely I'll have to wait til next weekend :(

nobody is gonna want to kick your ass, but it may intise the fast hondas to want to race you. theres not many but there are a few 10,11 second hondas on here, and colin with the 8 second crx.( 1/4 mile, not 1/8 ) :lol:
