Im looking for a HU for my Camaro. The system will entail 4 Infinity Kappa 6.5 2 ways and a 10/12 sub of some sort and a 4 channel amp for mids/ highs and a mono amp for the subs. I was looking for opinions on this HU. Ive seen it on Ebay for ~$330.

Nice. I became a big Alpine fan when I heard a side by side comparison with a top end Pioneer model. 2 sets of components though seems like overkill, save what you'd spend on the rear set and put it into something else (ie, bigger amp). Just my opinion.

The way the Camaro is setup, we have a 6.5 in the doors and a 6.5 in the rear seat (its a 6.5 sub stock) so I just got the 4 6.5s (2 for the doors and 2 for center fil)l.. I dont think the 2 in the doors would be enough..... I also already have the 4 6.5s :)

I was always a Kenwood fan untill I got an Alpine. My Kenwood was up toward the top on quality and I got a mid grade Alpine and the Alpine smoked the Kenwood :)

*lots of edits because beer > me*

My bad, I thought you meant a component set when you said "2 ways."

Technically its rear fill, but being that its in the center of the car.... ;) I still have 4"ers in the rear.

if its behind your head its rear fill no matter where the speaker is in relation to teh car, and center denotes center channel, as in front L, center, front R

So what do you plan on getting for your sub/amp setup?

Thanks for the correction 93. Any opinions on the HU?

Im not sure on the sub/ amp combo yet. Im looking to either JL or Kicker. Itll probably only be 1 10" or 1 10" and 1 12" being that theres only enough air space for a 10 in the passenger cubby and enough for a 12 in the drivers cubby. I dont want a huge box in the hatch well because of my T-tops. Im getting the boxes from http://www.subthump.com/acamarostealth.htm . Id rather have 12s because of the bass and sound. I had a set of JL 10s and switch to JL 12W3s and the sound was awesome!
