Curious ..... Where is everyones favorite place to practice. Well ok I know no one is going to tell me exact road parking lots or times or anything and i wouldn;t expect one to for fear of getting caught, [but you could pm me some spot to practice with my sol ;)_]. Back to the point of the post. Mainly just curious about what you prefer for practice.

Tracks

Parking lots

Dirt roads

Streets

Anywhere legal. Whether it's in a parking lot, track, etc. As long as it's legal practice I am there. :)

Anywhere I can slide is fair game .Streets are always the best and worst places for it.

Thought about it, but decided against it. Matt doesn't do it that often anymore either.

a trickey black top parking lot when its raining is a drifters dream!! as long as its private property all they can do is give you a stupid ticket or a trsspassing warrant. unless your Japdanny, then you go to jail where some big dude makes you his bitch. lol

everyy now and then we may hit up one of our lesser known spots, but for the most part, theres so many legal venues now fir it, its no point in risking it.

especially if youre trying to "drift" a del sol.

as far as the officer, heres the conversation:

cop: how'd you import this car here
me: i didnt. i built it
cop: and you think thats legal how?
me: well, i didnt think it was exactly ILLegal
cop: (powertrip tone with finger pointing at me) you better rethink that, pal

stage direction: exit cop to his car. cop flips thoruhg big book of laws. finds nothing. sites taylor for exhaust

cop: this car isnt safe and is illegal
me: where do i sign for my exhasut ticket?

LOL...What a dickhead. That is why cops recieve bad reputations and 1 reason I hate alot of them. They think they are god and we the peons are all fucking morons with no knowledge of law because we didn't graduate school and become a cop.

I think I would have asked him to rethink that shit himself if he went and looked for it in his book and still came up empty handed.

i guess they are going to have to outlaw mail trucks, seeing that they are unsafe and illegal. what a dumbass. cant admit when he's wrong.

i remember when RJ still had his red FC when he was still the "Spin Out King" on a sunday afternoon outing. hanging it sideways around the building at BS right in front of a cop. that was the first time we met up with the jdm cop. 2 hours later we were "banned" from the renaissance festival parking lot and told we were to pay for the grass we tore up. (grass wasnt tore up, it was a parking lot, and its been close to 2 years and still no bill). then about 4 hours after that we got busted again around HWY 60

that was just one of those days. getting bit up my mosquitos as we sat in front of the squad cars with the spotlights on us.

the best part of all that is with the 3 run ins in 3 different counties and being threatened to go to jail, there werent any tickets or citations given out.

why cant it still be like that.

I'm insanely paranoid of cops. It's getting worse. If I do drift it's usually one or two tries then I'm outta there.

And even then I'm looking over my shoulder.

Think of the most paranoid person you've ever met and multiply it by ten. Then you'd have me.
