that little 1/2 circle before you finish up onto the straight away should be added to the track, that would be a tight little combo there.

http://www.fastjam.com/autox/primus.wmv - thats a MUCH better video, plus I was actually in the passengers seat! Thats a BMW M3 coupe with a supercharger btw... actually go to this link for more pics and videos: http://www.tamparacing.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=140829&highlight=primus
I don't remember that little circle part being there, but I guess we didn't use that part of the track at the sunriders event.
I can vouch its wide enough to drift because I've drifted it.

Hmmm how much does it cost normally to use the go karts there?? Do they have rentals? I mean i don;t have a drift car yet but damn that looks like fun. malibu gran prix karts don't let you have any fun same thing goes for the celebration station ones. Jut curuious.. could be a good perk for the no drifter spectaors for after event fun ya know

Hmmm I am a noob and all but after watching the m3 driving video... did he drift any of the corners?? seemed more like he was grip racing a road course. I don't know much but yeah if someone with more experience would enlighten me that would be cool. thanx
THE M3 wasnt trying to drift, it was indeed trying to grip

someone needs to find out if we can do this on a regular basis.the track could make good money off this.

not necesarily(sp). everyday he runs the track he has a guy sitting roadside the a dB meter. cant go over 80dB, this costs $200 a day. then you have to pay for the insurance. it would be a financial loss if only 4 people showed. it would probably be $150 to run. i think thats what it costs for the karters.
p.s. no rental karts.

The track is $200 a day to rent?
Or you pay the dB meter guy $200 a day?
Does that $200 cover the safety truck and everything you need other than insurance?

lol, rental of the track for the wholeday definately costs more than $200 lol...the $200 number was the amount the guy holding the db meter gets paid apperantly.
the guy in the bmw was indeed gripping it, it was an autox, i believe that was the last sunriders event.
depending on how well this event goes we might have them pretty often but were still ironing out those details with the track owner.
