i saw some quick videos of drift atlanta from last year and it was only a quick right left and it was over. complete waste of a drive, hope its different this year.

That was video of them testing the track, there was no event last year.

You can see the track on there website. Its not big at all. Its a left 90, right 90, then a horseshoe shaped corner and back around the corners they just came through. The site advertises "7 possible drift areas." How lame.

Formula D Drift is to D1 Drifting as PUBU is to FUBU. what a sorry knock-off attempt. the track looks pretty small too. i think that instead of spending money on driving to atlanta, hotel, and gas, and food i will wait till dday2 and enter in. probably just as entertaining if not more enjoyable. but then again i hope that i am wrong, as usual, and the tampa folk enjoy themselves. long enough drive they more than deserve it......
