Sliding in Ocala Vid.

Jay...did IMV only use 2 cameras? I believe Canon GL2's? Wish they could of had some more shots from the track level of you drifting....

yea actually they only used one that day, the other one was being repaired. I kept telling them that I wanted some footage from outside the car but we just didnt get enough runs, and they didnt get there early enough.

does ocala just let you pay some cash and slide around or something? is it a nice track? do they have a website? do you know the owner!? :)

The guys from Gainesville rent it out fairly regularly. Most of the guys just try to go fast. The owner is cool as hell and doesnt care that I slide. It's only $25 when we do it as well. I can get you in contact with the guy who usually sets the event up, and I am sure he can put you in contact with the owner. I think its great, from your description of Miami it sounds very similar. His name is Brian and his email address is orion@gru.net

Would you mind emailing me some of the info on renting out that track, if you don't mind? I have a few guys from J-ville that have been wanting to rent out a track to practice drifting in. And at $25, can't beat that!

Cheap helmets can be had at this motorcycle place on Florida Ave a little south of Fowler (I Think). They sell cheapies for around $75.
