Events around Tallahasse

Hey, I will be moving up there in a little while (few months) Just wondering what kind of events are going around there. I really couldnt find any on the the top of the page. I know there are some nice curvey roads out there, but I want to keep tickets to a minium ;) So I was wondering if anyone has ideas of where to autoX up there.

The "Bainbridge, GA" events are just across the border from Tallahassee. Dixie Region is the local, then the Gulf Coast Region in Pensacola isn't too far. GIR will be about 2 hours.

There's absolutely nothing in Tallahasse itself. You're gonna hafta drive almost an hour into Georgia, or 2.5 hrs to GIR to get anything.

the old Tallahassee site closed down almost 2 years ago. I attended the final event, as did Muddy.

I live in tallahassee. Bainbridge is 35miles north of town to the event site. No big deal we still consider it tallhassee even though it's in georgia. It's run by bunch of old guys who love their trimphs and design the course to be damn near the same every month. The silly trimphs take FTD almost every month because no one with a good car is willing to show up and show them what FAST is. There are a couple good drivers but they rarely drive and just run the show. You'll have easy picken's if you choose to compete their regularly. I race there about twice a year and would rather drive the 2 hours on the same day to G ville for better competetion, a better designed course, and a Better surface.
