CRX vs. old school vette

I was there until 4am and herd two wild stories while I was there but cannot confirm if either is true, First was the CRX blew up his motor while racing a bike, and last that the guy driving the old silver vette was pulled over by a state trooper and arrested for doing hole shot on H/F Bridge.

well the crx wanted to race , but when the corvette guy had 245425757457 excuses. so the crx guy said when he could get sum balls he would run him next week , then the crx raced a gixxer 1000 form 70 mph roll and smoked the bike...nothing wrong with the crx

I was cruising across "the bridge" when all of a sudden we had to slow down. And then to my amazement I saw ***'s crx hit the button...... all I could think of was FROG, BIG HONDA FROG!! Then I saw the bike. Not sure who won though....

That crx sounds pretty potent from what ive been hearing.Kinda makes me wish i had taken mine farther than what i did.Too bad he uses juice if boosted it would prob be alot sicker.

Not from what I heard. I did hear that the CRX backed out stating his clutch was slipping!?!

seriously I would like to see him beat a stock or modded gixxer 1000................... Very hard to believe he can beat a bike especially that!

yeah, it would have to trap in the 130's to beat that. From what I've heard it's high 10 sec. car that traps in the 120's. who knows though. I wouldn't mind running him ( not for money ) when I get my bottle in.

Bikes are actually easier to take on a roll. Especially from 70mph. Try it sometime. You may just surprise yourself.

well it was a gixxer 1000 , not a 1100...and jason said he was surprised he beat it to.....could have been driver error..

i seen an older vette last year at the track.it was silver and had t tops.did not have stock rims on it.but i belive he had a 406sbc in it if its the same one he's going to put probley about a car on the crx.he was running well into the 6.00 in the 1/8...give u guys the heads up.there not all slow from them years.

the vette i seen had polished rims i think they where like a pizza cutter style not sure though if u guys see him again ask what size motor he gots if he says 406 then its probley him and u guys will have your hands full run from a roll don't do a dig.

Yep polished is correct. He is a good freind of mine :) I already ran him at BMP, his car is fast. (Yes! There are a few supras who will run a good race from a dig! :) ) If you wanna find out how fast, you will have to run him. :)

now that sounds about right with the bike error, b/c even if he's in 10's I still doubt he beat that bike :D.
