Well I am looking to start practicing at the track with my car and wanted to know where around the Pinellas area you can buy Race fuel..In particular...C16..think its like 117 octane. Any help is much appreciated.

I have been wondering myself on where to get C16, so I cant help you much there.

But, if 110 octane will do, there is a 76 station on about the north 1300 block of Hercules in Clearwater (its called Waynes Corner) that sells it. They also have 100 octane unleaded. (FYI - The station is south of Sunset Point and north of Gulf to Bay on Hercules.)

Last I checked, the 110 leaded was $4.25 a gallon and the 100 unleaded was $4.55 a gollon (or thereabouts).

Hey Matt,

Wussup... Im not sure about it in Tampa but Titanmotorsports carries it $8.50 a gallon :o

goto the VP fuel website and email them and ask for a dealer around you I think there is one on Exit 22 on I4 (park rd?)

theres a place up in clearwater a few minutes west of 19. forget the road it is on but when 93 was 1.86/gal 107 was like 2.40 if i remember correctly and 97 was 2.20

ask about bulk rates.... its cheap as hell (like almost half price) if you buy a 55 gallon drum :D
