Right before my biggest let down of the night. My nitrous solenoid finally died. I've had the same cheater noid for damn near ten years and couldn't tell you how many cars it's been on. I know I had nothing on that spirit without the nitrous, but 175 horsepower worth of fuel with no juice only makes matters worse. I pulled the solenoid apart at the track (with help from Kenny of course :) ) and the plunger was actually frozen up, I couldn't get it to move at all. Going to either rebuild it or get another one today because I am running in Breathless Performance's shoot out tomorrow (sunday). Seemed like everyone around me was jinxed last night, the CRX I towed down went a 12.07 (single cam, stock internals, 100 shot, about $1500 total invested for all you haters) then possibly blew a head gasket (somethings gotta give  ) another friends civic lost his ground and the whole car shut down, Kenny messed something up in his Impala, then to put icing on the cake, I ran out of gas on the way home about three blocks from a gas station, luckily we still had the CRX  Entertaining evening, but alot of the stuff I could have done without.................................

Wow, Look at me, I've got all wheel drive, so I'll drive right through the water to prove how cool I am. People like this shouldn't be allowed at the track, don't know who it was, don't care, drove straight through the water box, did NO burnout, drove straight to the line, and wouldn't you know, Kenny blew the tires off on his Impala running next behind him. Luckily nobody wrecked or broke anything spinning through this guy's water, or the fight sequence photos surely would be in here today  Seriously, whoever you are, have some respect, you're not the only guy racing, jackass.

You know ... I see everyone complaining about the skyline, but no one told him that he's not supposed to drive through the water?

I know that's common sense to know what to do/not to do, but some people are stupid and need to be told.

Yeah, when we we're pulling to the line I was thinking that it would probably be the best race of the night, 4 door sleeper to 4 door sleeper, so you can imagine how pissed I was. I put a new solenoid in, and ran a 12.39 at bradenton sunday. my mph was only 106, I probably would have had you in the 1/8, but you would have been running me down on the big end. We'll have to line 'em up at the next track day, should be a good race.

That would have been awesome with the two "blue hair specials" duking it out for a photo finish!

Yes.....Im sure you would have had me in the 1/8th. I was having serious traction problems and was thus was limping out of the hole and just letting the engine do the work the other 1260 ft. If I got aggressive at the line, the tires just spun and didnt stop. So, I was better off taking it easy for the first 60 ft and letting it rip after that.
