transmission additive

is the transmission additive made by greased lightning one of the best? this is the one my mechanic suggested but it ddint help at all. the problem is when i shift to revese it doesnt engage for aobut 3 seconds after i hit the gas pedal and it chirps the wheels so i lok like a dumbass. what others are good?

You seem to have a mechanical problem in the transmission.. pouring fluid into it is never going to fix it. it would be like breaking your arm and pouring any liquid you wanted over your arm. Its not going to fix it. You have a tranny problem. You need to fix it. Not pour liquids on it.:roll:

Have you tried checking the fluid? It sounds like it may be low, otherwise, get it fixed.

try lucas? I have heard good things about it, but I dont have an auto, so I wouldnt have 1st hand experience? but hav heard good things from a mechanic? cheaper than a new trans!
