Well last night on my way home from work I turn my stereo up due tot eh asswad in the car next to me had his music up quite loud. Well I had it 1/2 way up and realized it was quite quiet so I pulled over to check it out. As I look back the passenger side sub was banging away and the one behind me was dead still. Melted like a mofo. I was saying that my setup wasn't bad due to everyoen downing Audiobahn, but I will now retract my previous statements on their products. My old 10" compVR too way more abuse and is still kicking. Grrr now I have to go find two new subs...... sorry for the rant, but had to let it out.

nope, only one could blow. Not all subs are made the same, maybe one was made better than the other. Eli coulda abused the shit outta them and one finally crapped. Who knows? Thats why i never buy used stuff

not with audiobahns meticulous quality control [/sarcasm] both wouldnt blow if one was produced inferior to the other one..

If I wanted to go with an SPL system I could have gone nasty.......... :D But I am at that age where I can't enjoy a song if the bass is overwhelming everything else.

That's why you have those 10 million dials and knobs to adjust the bass to your liking, yet be able to crank it and lay a smack down when need be. It'd also probably help if your subs weren't so pitifully underpowered.
