Who owns any 80's Turbo Dodges?

Looking for Bay Area people who own any 80's Turbo Dodges. Thinking of a get together what do you think.

Larry (4sfed4) Mike (flybyuin2.2) and Jon (SPOOL U 1986) I know about you so far. Please include model. Looking for turbo cars like:

Daytona
Labaron
Omni
Shadow
All Shelby Cars
GLHS
Chargers
Spirit

And all the others I might have missed.

No late model Eagles or Neons

We (local TDs) certainly need to meet up sometime. Maybe even plan a track day/dyno day, etc. Another thought Ive had is to have us all meet up at a local park for a BBQ. Ive frequently thought that Howard Park in Tarpon Springs would be perfect. Its at the beach and has plenty of spots to part right along the side of the causeway. We could line up all the cars in a row next to the water and it would make a cool picture!

Larry that's exactly what I was thinking, a BBQ would be great!

Maybe a Saturday Night met, A day at an Amusement park, maybe a day at the Saint Petersburg Pier, A day @ Old Town on Saturday just a few ideas.

My neighboor belongs to a BMW Z3 club and they have BBQs @ Fort Desoto once in a while. I've been to them before (invited by Neighbor) and have met alot of great people. I mean hell what's $60 + cost to me for hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks. Hell I spend more on Dinner everynight and I'm not feeding 20+ people. I notice there's a SDAC chapter here in Florida but it's not to organized. I would like to get something local here and plan trips, have shirts made. My brother has a shirt press and does shirts and I could get the almost free for us (just cost of Shirt and Print $2.25 for Beefy T and $1.25 for Print)

As far as the TD only track day...Unfortunatly I don't think we have a big enough group to keep the price resonable. Your thoughts Larry, Mike, as well as others.

I have a 1987 Dodge Shelby Charger GLH-S # 0867.

it has alot of mods, but still appears stock, except the sound.


I am part of Fast As Fuck Racing, and they often have meets on Sundays and barbeque @ Gandy beach, thats were I like to go.

All ideas sound like fun to me Kevin! Lets plan something and get the ball rolling! BBQ or other meet sound great and Id be happy to help plan.

The track day I mentioned wouldnt be a TD only day (yeah right...like we have the local membership for that :D ). It would be a more informal gathering at say, a Saturday test and tune.

As far as the local SDAC club, that was started a few year back by me, my father, and Bill Brobst. But, local interest was farly weak, so we more or less abandoned it. But, I heard that some oher guys were trying to restart the local SDAC chapter. However, I am not sure if they were successful.

In any case, for the great idea re: the T-shirts you mentioned, we can certainly start our own gig! (We cant use any SDAC logos, nomenclature, etc. however). But, Ill bet we can come up with something inventive!

Has soon as we get maybe 10 I say or more we can probably plan something. What do you think Larry? I know most places give group discounts for 15 or more ie Busch Gardens, Sea World, Etc.

Your going to put that stuff on the LeBaron?

Take it easy on the ole gal! I drove it at 4 psi boost when I had it as a runabout.

However, I have a feeling it saw a tougher life when it made it over to the Melbourne area :D
