View Full Version : How to setup subs?

Okay here are my choices, I am going to use vinyl to cover everything up, and build a amp rack for my amps ( 2 MRDM1000's and 1 MRVF540) put a piece of plexiglass over them. But for my subs would you put 2 in the back and 1 on each side. Or would you put 2 on each side. I think it would sound better with 2 on each side, but i lose space for my amps.

is this a wall? or what? spare tire? subs are facing each other or what? doesnt look like enough airspace there seeing as its 2d

Im going to make a wall, take out the spare tire for the amps, im wondering should i have the subs facing each other or have 2 in the back and 1 on each side.

im still not understanding the picture in terms of a wall with amps in the spare tire well

at any rate, i think itd be best to do a half moon or a trapezoid style for the subs

I agree with Jesse. I'd do something like trapezoid shaped.
