Well, after learning never to race a 600 from a stop anymore, I wanted to have a shot from a roll. I met a guy with a new GSX-R 600 with simple mods that put 115 to the rear wheel. We lined up and went from a 60 mph roll. I had the car in third, and I was thinking we would go from 65 or a little higher. From the initial hit he got about 2 cars on me, it stayed like that through third. I hit fourth and started pulling on him, End of 4th and I was even with him. I shortly got into 5th, and the short time I was in 5th I put about 2 cars on him. I shut down at about 150.

Good kill. I should have followed and gotten a run in with the Gixxer also.

Not doubting the kill at all but it takes a lot more than simple mods to get a Gsxr600 to 115rwhp. Basic mods like full exhaust and a good custom tune will get you ~100-105rwhp at the most. It would definitely take some serious headwork at least to get that much HP. I've seen dynos of the new 6R (with 636cc) put down under 110rwhp with full exhaust and a good tune.
600cc bikes are already in a very high state of tune stock and it takes a lot to get good HP gains from them. My buddies 2002 Gsxr750 dynoed at 114rwhp w/ a slip-on exhaust only.
Could have been a seriously optimistic dyno though.;)

Surfnerv- Good running in to you guys last night. I was beginning to lose my faith in Tampa. Hopefully soon I'll have the Eclipse out to play.
