Alright this is what happened......

I was traveling south on 4st N and missed my turn. I turned right onto 22ave n to do a u-turn and head back in the opposite direction to return to 4th. The light was green so I took the right hand turn goin 30-35mph in second gear. I took the turn gracefully and my speed quickly arrived between 45-50mph. I saw the opportunity to do a 180 degree turn, so I hit the brakes, down-shifted, and completed my 180 flawlessly. At the very end of the 180, my 93 FD completely crapped-out. Everything went dead. Engine shut off, no gauge cluster lights, no engine check light, nothing. I took the key out of the ignition. put it back in, and my baby immediately sprung back to life. Everything seems fine.... Did I stall the car (if I did, why was there a black-out)? I cant figure out what happened? Help.....

Check the grounds/power to the altrinator and battery. I know it seems stupid/redundant, but if any of those screwed up during a turn like that, your simptoms are to be expected.

I had the same problem. For me it was a slightly loose positive battery cable. Tighten everything down and you should be fine.

Well it has been a busy weekend (12 hours of Sebring kicked ass) and I finally got around to popping the hood of the FD. ricola555, you were right on the ball, it was a loose battery cable. I didnt thing that something as simple as electricity would have such an effect :dunno: steve, the oil pump is sittin pretty and is just fine, I double checked just-in-case.
