Just wanted to thank everyone that came out to the car show / blood drive today !

During a normal month Florida Blood Services test 60 people for marrow matches, today alone we had 98 tests performed ! :bigthumb: :o We also had over 40 people donate blood. So a big hats off to everyone that showed and got tested/donated blood.

Our car show had well over 120 entries and countless spectators.

A big thanks go out to Billy and Frances who put the most time and effort into this and to all of our other admins, mods, and members that pitched in as well.

Once again Tampa Racing pulled off yet another great event for the Bay area.

To all of you that are not members yet and stopped by today thanks for coming out and we look forward to having you as a member.

On a side note thank you T.P.D. for radaring Dale Mabry right in front of our show all morning ( I am sure it was a coincidence ;) ). From the looks of it everyone seemed to mind their manners coming and going which hopefully led to a unproductive day for you. ;) :smirk:

We would have been no where with this event if it was not for the help of the media and all of our sponsors, especially Check$mart; thanks again for all the help.

Best in Show Car: Edward Berry's '67 Ford Cobra

Thanks again for taking vare of the winners photos. You will need to PM Zate or Billy about the pics..

Put them in a gallery and then post a link from the gallery into this thread if you do not mind.

Edit** I already started a folder for the show under Events in the Gallery. Please add all your pictures to that one folder. Thanks, Billy

I had a great time! Couldn't have asked for nicer weather and I was suprised by the variety of cars that showed up. I was able to get some pics as well. I don't know how to create a gallery but I will find a way to post them.
It's amazing how many people will come out to support a great cause.

I put my pics in a thread and also uploaded them into the Cars for Cancer gallery Billy had started. I can't upload any more so if Zate, Billy, or another mod could bump my limit I can upload the rest.

I had a good time meeting up with people I hadn't seen for awhile. Great weather, great cause, barely any ricer burnouts, great mix of cars, hell all around great job. I wish I could have given blood but I just gave two weeks ago :-/

Frances and I would like to thank everyone who came out today. This event managed to get pulled off on a very tight schedule with little time for planning, but the next one will be much better. For all those who asked today we are planning on making this an annual event.

Again, thanks to everyone.

I just wanted to say that this was a great event overall. It was great to see a lot of people come out for good cause. It was also nice seeing a lot of cars from this area and you couldn't ask for better weather.
