Not a true Kill Story, but........
......It took 3.5 years to build my first stroked and sprayed Impala into a 11.4 (119 MPH) sled before its demise. :(
It took another 3 years to finally get around NASSTY with her Evil Twin. :D
The air was awesome last night at Bradenton Motorsports Park, which brought out over 190 cars for TNT. Unfortunately, I was only able to make two passes with the 2-hour lines.
1st pass 2nd Pass
R/T .094 .331
60' 1.805 1.644
330 4.777 4.644
1/8 7.229 7.158
MPH 100.16 98.90
1000 9.354 9.305
1/4 11.140 11.104
MPH 125.34 124.58
Up Next: The much anticipated 2nd stage.

Well Done Chet! Nope, he killed me! I was driving the red SRT-4 in the other lane on one of those runs. I saw him fly by me but i never knew how fast he went.
Congrats on a wicked Impala Nassty!
BTW, I was fighting wheel hop & spining like mad, but I was able to pull off a 13.4 @ 106 on stock tires on my last run.

i read the first MPH time and then the quarter mile time, so it looked like 11.14@100mph and 11.104@98.9mph. i was thinking bullshit, but then i realized those were the 1000 foot times.
nice runs

moldyhands,
Those 1st MPH intervals are actually at the 1/8 mile mark.
Kind of hard to read all those numbers the way I posted it. hell, its hard to read all those damn numbers on the time slip.
I'm just glad to see the hellacious work paying off in nice increments.
Thanks for the props to all.

great times.
do you any you guys know a cheap place to get direct port nozzles and lines? I have a NX single fogger wet kit, but I want to convert it to a direct port. Thanks.

Damn Chet...that MPH is awesome. I think a 10.99 may have been possible last night with a few more runs.
So did you get the FAST system to stop adding so much fuel on the juice?
Cant wait to see the "real" nitrous kit in action!

Thanks AL!
Yes, I am finally figuring out what kind of NX fuel jet settings the F.A.S.T system + 50lb injectors like.
What is cool is that by reducing the fuel jets down dramatically, the injector duty cycle % have also gone way down on juice runs..... which tells me I have plenty of Walbro pump left for the 1st stage.
You would not believe me if I told you how small a shot I am running right now on the 1st stage, along with a VERY conservative target 02.
MORE told me to hold on tight when this motor gets a healthy DOSE.
The second stage on top of a now stable and safe 1st stage fuel curve will be absolutely insane :D
Chet, it was great to finally meet you also.

Congrats!! How 'bout them B-bodies!! I'm hoping to be about a second slower than you the next time out, with a stock long block:nono: Are you going to be at the Breathless performance deal April 4th? If so, I'll see you there.
