This will be the 5th running of this event, we've been to 4 and run in 1, car was broke or under construction the rest and I worked the event for Breathless as they gave me those slick flush headlights!

So, anyone going or want to attend?

This time we are ready and will be there racing in Unlimited class as we'll be likely unveiling a new nitrous setup and looking for mid to low 7's.

If you would like to attend and race, pre-registration is advised as there are a limited number of racer spots available, I believe 75 is the magic number. Pre-registration should be $135 and at the gate will be $150 if there are spots available. There will be a car show (entry is $15), parts vendors and of course food, spectators are $10.

Some people have complained in the past about the cost - for this we say - This event is for 'The Kids', by this we mean that the majority of the proceeds go to the National Downs Syndrom Society. Come out and enjoy some great racing and support a great cause!

You forgot Impala SS's  I just e-mailed to see if they would allow my Roadmaster, I don't see why not, but sometimes events can be picky.

I'm sooo there with my 3.4L bird, TA! Heh, or not, but I might make it down there to watch real F-Bodies and the cars that they were designed to want to be race.

Did you ever figure out why you were leaning out at the far end of the track?

It's funny that you ask this now, I had a hypertech programmer installed in the car, I had read in a few places that they are fine for a stock car, but when you start doing alot of mods, they really are worthless. Being that I haven't changed the heads, cam, or even put headers on the car, I figured it would be fine. Well evidently it wasn't, yesterday I pulled the program out and set the tune back to stock, just kept the lower fan temp. settings, raised rev limit and top speed, and wouldn't you know, sprayed it out on the courtney campbell up to 115-120 mph and it ran great, no problems at all. Now I just wonder why I didn't try that before  I guess it's time for some professional programming. ;)
