well me and Leon are now 1-1...1st time we ran, we were both on the bottle, and i just edged him out by a car or two. and tonight it was just the opposite
he upped the boost about 1/2psi i believe, said he was running 5.3. Well, anyways, we both lined up, didnt really get time to power brake or anything, i honked 3 times and gave him the hit, i stuck to right about his door with both of us spinning badly, hit 2nd and were right about neck and neck but were still spinning, he lets out to hook back up and i do the same but get ahead about 1/2 a car and then i hit 3rd and right at the shift i hear BANG! and stayed in it about another second when he started pulling away pretty well. I think a track run against eachother is in order just to get rid of those spin issues. Leon has a very stout car.
now for my excuses ;) cause you know i got them :lol:
cold and spinning but that got us both. my knock count was in the 3500 range, and i retarded about 8* of timing :( the loud bang in the engine bay, well, that was stupidity of my own, i forgot to tighten down the clamp that holds the intake piping on and it blew off partially, so i was only seeing about 3psi (caused me to lose to a WS6 on the way home too :mad: )
but i am a firm believer in run what ya brung, and as i see the circumstances, i just didnt bring enough, very good run Leon :) thanks again.
