View Full Version : Integra vs 1st Gen on DM
On the way home from a "friends" house, i see this guy in a green 1st gen eclipse. he's got the ricer lean going on, and does a flyby on me on waters. i'm like, next light we're gonna run. he pulls in the inside turn lane on waters turning on dale mabry. i pull up next to him in the outside turn lane, he keeps bouncing himself back and forth, light goes green, i roll out onto dale mabry, we both punch it and i proceeded to put 3-4 cars on him, then out of the corner of my eye i see a cop sitting in a parking lot outside a strip mall. After filling my pants with excrement, i slammed on the brakes, luckily, he didn't give chase. good race nonetheless.

1st gen non turbo eclipses aren't very fast, your integra could easily walk it. Good kill, nonetheless.

Somebody who has actually cared enough to read something about nonturbo DSM clue me in- aren't the 1.8's like 97 hp and the 2.0 nonturbo is like 140? If it was a 2.0, good kill, 1.8... umm. ;)
*edit* Googled it, found this on dsmtuners:
"Model Trim
Eclipse (8 valve, 1.8L, SOHC, 92hp)
Eclipse RS (8 valve, 1.8L, SOHC, 92hp)
Eclipse GS (8 valve, 1.8L, SOHC, 92hp)
Eclipse GS (16 valve, 2.0L, DOHC, 135hp)
Eclipse GS-T (16 valve, 2.0L Turbo, DOHC, 195hp)
Eclipse GSX (16 valve, 2.0L Turbo, DOHC, 195hp, AWD)
"
Ahahahaha, hahahaha  92 hp! Freaking hilarious! Thank goodness my car is at the bottom of that list instead of the top!
