Where's the usual autocrossers hotel? Any nightlife or does everyone avoid hangovers and get to sleep early? Money IS an issue, but not so much that I'd stay in the ghetto and wake up without wheels. Any advice before I call in a reservation?

Hey Todd,

I usually stay at the Admiral Lehigh, the best rate they have for the weekend is $94 (AAA) on the 2nd floor. Right now most hotels are expensive, $100 and up in that area. Just check Expedia and you'll find a few there, look for those close to the Wellesley Inn, actually lots of autoxers stay there I believe.

Are you going this weekend?

I'll be there Sunday and hope that warmer weather and a grippy surface will solve my traction issues. I had a really bad time last weekend and whacked every cone in sight (poor car looks like a silver & black zebra on the front & pass. side).

I think I'll have Jorge (black M-3) and Cory (black GTi) coming too. Anyone else not "going Pro" and want to come down?

I'm going. I'll be coming from Brandon, let me know where I can meet up.

Word, I'll PM you Sat. once a meeting spot is arranged. One guy's in Land O' Lakes, another in N.E. Tampa, and I'm downtown, so maybe like McDonald's on SR 60/Adamo & I-75 would be good? I'd like to be there by 8 to 8:15 and that would take getting out of Brandon by 6ish...

I'm way to broke for a hotel room, I'm banking on Jesse having some extra space.

Quality Inn on S. Cleveland was $84 a night, clean, and close to restaurants. It was also about 15 min from the track.

We stayed at the Quality Inn and it was decent. Have to remember to check on the dates of the "Edison Festival" next year. That was an added bonus with Fireworks, bands, hot little girls, etc...

They were the cheerleading teams for the different bands and surely were >18. I met a few local skanks at the TimeOut lounge but they had a lot of miles on them. I'd say "rough book", at best. I had no where to take 'em anyhow. Even if the deal could've been closed and I brought one back for Alan, we'd still have had happily married Brian there...
