ignition problem

ok my dad bought a 94 eclipse with a blown eng, so he bought another eng but the ignition is different...he tells me that the ignitin he has now is a platinum igition and the one that came with the car is electronic......i dont know anything bout dsm but i would like someone to explain this to me or tell me what i could do to fix it thanx:?

You need a titanium one the platinum one wont work.

so what type of ignition for what car can he get it from??? we looked at mopar and stuff like that but too expencive how can i solve this problem?????

what size motor did the car have. what size motor went into the car? and from what year did the motor come from that went into the car. answer this and i bet i will have your answer.
