As said your reastion time was .9xx not .4xx, BMP uses a .000 light system with the new digital lights.

Your trap speed is way slow and spinning will not effect that much at all.

My 4,000 lbs Lincoln traps at 93 mph and runs 15.1 all day long. That is with full spare, full tank, kids seats, 5 speed auto, etc.. :lol:

Hello, and welcome to your lesson in tire selection for the day. "drifting" refers to the slip angle of tires. Show drifting requires the slip angle of the rear of the car to be larger than the front of the car. In a fwd car, you have no capability of power-on oversteer, thus grip in the rear must be less than the grip in the front. Cornering grip comes from sticky rubber and hard sidewalls. For a fwd to drift, you want the stickiest tires with the stiffest possible sidewall on the front, while you want the hardest tires with squishiest possible sidewalls on the rear. Being that you're lacking the integrity to buy true handling tires such as falkens, so you definately had some squishy sidewalls up front. 1) that makes you an idiot for trying to drift a fwd car that is setup to plow. 2) that makes the front tires better for drag. See, it's the craziest thing, for drag tires you want soft sidewalls, it provides more grip.

In closing, I have a 2002 focus zx3, It makes exactly 116whp. I have a non-adjustable suspension under it. I have shitty tires all around. I will kick your ass in a drag race, drift circles around you, and as far as outhandling this ford...hahahahahahahaha bring that shit on.

Your car is extremely slow, trust me. I've beat a focus before, which isn't saying much for your car. I never said my altima could outhandle your car. It still has the stock suspension, which is a bigger joke than owning a focus. If you ever feel the need to run, let me know, I'll be more than happy to go up to BMP. :)

Your car will probably slide into every cone in an autox event. Rear wheel drive and too much power/ weight equals a car that oversteers way too much and you'll end up eating it sooner or later. If you don't believe me, take a stock Miata against a stock Viper to an autox event. Who do you think would win?

I had a 02 sentra spec v a year and a half ago with Tein 16 way dampening coilovers, you probably think you could've beat that in an autox as well huh?

My altima weighs about 2800 lbs dry and yours about 3500-3600, it will outhandle your car with a similar suspension set-up and the same driver. Not by much, but it will for sure.

They come with Upgraded thick sway bars and 275 tires all the way around ... now he has 295/35 drag radials in the rear, so he isn't going to be losing the back end of the car.

If you even think you have a shot at his car, you are sadly, and incredibly misinformed to think that your car's name should even be mentioned in the same breath as his in the name of competition ...

Thanks for keeping me well informed about the WS6 Firehawk, or should I say Firebird. My knowledge on these cars is pretty high compared to most owners of them. I seem to recall they claimed 320 horse in that version, and the stock formula had 305, correct me if I'm wrong please.
I was thinking about buying one awhile ago, but chose to be cool and pick up a sentra spec v instead and make it beat most stock V8s. I found out the hard way that having nitrous installed to that engine without a header is the quickest way to blow it up due to the catalytic converter being inside of the exhaust manifold, and having a guy that is not very experienced with installing it didn't help either.

When my S13 240sx is complete, I'll happily give you and anybody else on this website a run for their money. I saw a couple of them running low to mid 13s which isn't very bad for just a little 4 CYLINDER right. Some of the Sr20s lay down up to 600 horse and nearly 500 ft lbs torque. People also install RB25Det, which if your familiar with the Skyline in Japan, that's what it came from.

If the viper looses, it's driver error, not the car itself. There is no way you can tell me a stock miata outhandles a stock viper, sorry. It's not too much power to weight, it's too much right foot to pedal. You really think that a Trans-Am is set up for only straight line? Your little s10 extreme can/ will not outhandle an altima with springs/ struts or a coilover set up. My R/ T was 3/10s of a second worse and I still managed to lay down a 2.3 60 foot time, are you spraying?

My point is after I get some practice, I'll be just fine. I'm a very quick shifter and know exactly when to change gears. Once I get the RT down, my car will easily be into the mid 15s.
