has anyone here raced a new 350z yet? i heard that they are supposed to be pretty quick.

In this forum your supposed to post war stories, not ask what cars are quick or not. You could have asked in general car chat what kind of times stock 350z's would run, but you could easily accomplish that yourself with a simple google search.

i saw a 350z at trackday running 15's consistently. they arent as fast as a lot of people think.

I was driving my 93 with the supercharger belt off after I shred it at the track for a few days until I could get a new one. I raced one from about a 20mph roll n/a and ate him up pretty good....couldn't imagine how much of a raping it'd have been if I had boost. I'm not impressed with them at all in stock form....

It was a 6 speed with a pretty cool owner...I beat him by about 2 cars ...after the race we talked...and his first question was "what do you have done to that thing" " I just couldn't catch you" :lol: my time I believe for that run was a 9.01 (1/8 mile )

So they are nice.. but nuttin beats good ol American muscle :mullet: :roll:

A six speed 350 won't touch an 04 GT. When my car was basically stock I raced one from a line. He won by a fender and that was a 6 speed. So a 350 won't touch a 99+GT.

I raced a silver 350z from a light and from a roll of lick 25 both times it was hard to see if he was still back there......they only have like 280 at the crank and who knows what to the wheels. I think they look nice though. Put some turbos on it and it would be bad I think..:o

Steve, Mike raced an Orange 350Z, both spraying and beat him out at the Tides awhile back.
